Attention family and friends of the Class of 2021, It is hard to believe that March is almost over and with that in mind the annual Senior Slide Show is well underway. For the slide show to be a success, seniors and their parents are asked to contribute pictures from early childhood, as well as school years that include elementary, middle, and high school. Students and parents can submit their pictures by either sending them via email to mnichols@nacs1.org or karissaperkins@nacs1.org. The deadline for submitting pictures for the slide show will be Friday, June 11, 2021.

Congratulations, NAC Elementary! Thanks to your generosity, Mrs. Peryea was able to present a check for $600.00 to the Vermont Children's Hospital as part of the Big Change Roundup! YEE-HAW! Hey Bobcats! NAC College planning Night is Tuesday March 30 at 6:00pm and will be live on our facebook page. Kerry Lubold, Assistant Director for Financial Aid from SUNY Plattsburgh will be there to talk about how to navigate the financial aid process .

Good morning Northern Adirondack Families. We have learned that Google is experiencing issues throughout their network systems, which has impacted some of the Google Meets between our faculty and students today. The issues have caused individuals to get kicked out of meetings abruptly without cause. Please be patient and continue working with our faculty, as this is not an internal NAC issue, but a much larger problem stemming from Google itself. Thank you for your understanding.

Elementary students have been fascinated with the video footage of the landing of NASA's Perseverance Mars Rover that STEM teacher Amy LaPoint shared with them! Kristen Patnode channeled that excitement into a P.E. challenge for her students: to create a vehicle that Astronauts could use on Mars. She laid out all sorts of equipment and gave a few requirements - the vehicle had to move across the gym (Mars) and have a covering to protect the Astronauts. The students used their bodies and brains to build these amazing "Mars rovers!" Kudos to our students for their inventions and to our inventive teachers!
