Good evening Northern Adirondack! This message is to remind you that tomorrow, Friday, March 12th is a Staff Development Day, and no students will be attending school. Also there will be no busing of students to the main campus or the BOCES campus in Plattsburgh. Please enjoy the long weekend.

Attention ALL Volleyball Players - On Thursday, March 11 there will be a clearance opportunity from 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm at the MS/HS. The impact test will also be available. As we move through the school year we wish to remind everyone that due to the current situation we must physically limit the number of community members at all events. Our intent is to live steam events so that family and friends can help be a part of them. Currently we are live streaming some sporting events and would like to have a more suitable option for events like a graduation, however the current quality could be better. To help us achieve this we need to broaden our subscription numbers to a minimum of 1000 at our NAC YouTube channel. Bobcat March Madness Tournament of Books begins March 8! Each day during the last three weeks of March, Elementary students will watch a pair of read-aloud videos and vote for their favorite book to advance in the tournament of books. That day's winner will be announced and advance in the tournament bracket. Beginning March 8 and culminating with the final match-up on March 31, the competition will be fierce! Can perennial favorite Pete the Cat hold off against a read-aloud FROM SPACE by a real astronaut? Will a scrappy newcomer unseat the venerable award-winner “Where the Wild Things Are?” WHO WILL WIN?!! There can only be one….

Live Streaming of athletic events: We completely understand that the community would love to watch our upcoming sporting events. Athletic Uniform Notice - Due to the abrupt and unexpected cancellation of our 2019-2020 season because of Covid-19 we were unable to collect many of the uniforms from our players. We would appreciate it if you could help us out and contact Mr. Witkiewicz at 518-594-3962 or by email rwitkiewicz@nacs1.org if you still have a uniform at your residence. We would be happy to make arrangements for their return. We appreciate your help!
