Despite the power being restored in the area surrounding the school, we do not have heat in our MS/HS building due to internal electrical issues caused by this morning's transformer issue. Please stay safe as an unpredictable weather pattern is approaching today and tomorrow.
Good morning NAC families. We will bee operating on a two hour delay schedule this morning, Thursday, February 17, 2022, as a result of a transformer issue near school that has impacted our power and heat in the buildings. We have been informed that our power should be restored this morning, so we currently expect to open after the two hour delay. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
Good evening NAC families! Either this Thursday or Friday two Home COVID-19 Test kits will be sent home with each student and staff member. There is no requirement for them to be used during next week's break, however if there is any sign of COVID-19 they can be used as a preliminary test useful in judging whether an individual should return to school on the 28th. At the elementary level the test kits will be placed in a paper bag. If you absolutely do not want to receive any test kits, please contact the office in the building that your child attends by the end of the day tomorrow, Wednesday, February 16, 2022. Thank you and please remain safe and healthy.
NAC Elementary celebrated the 100th day of school on Monday, February 14! Students created visual displays of 100 objects, 100 words, or dressed like they were 100 years old! We love the creativity of our families and teachers.
The Northern Adirondack School Board will meet at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, February 17, 2022 in the Middle High School Auditorium for the 2nd Budget Work Session followed by a Regular Board Meeting starting around 6:00pm. Facemasks are a requirement in all indoor schools settings. Those in attendance must have a facemask on at all times while in the building, and respect the social distancing requirements.

In an effort to avoid having our buses out on the roads tomorrow afternoon. Morning CV-Tech students will attend CV-Tech and return for the 12 noon dismissal, however the afternoon CV-Tech students will not attend tomorrow. The CVES students will also attend, and then be picked up at 12 noon for dismissal.
