In an effort to avoid having our buses out on the roads tomorrow afternoon. Morning CV-Tech students will attend CV-Tech and return for the 12 noon dismissal, however the afternoon CV-Tech students will not attend tomorrow. The CVES students will also attend, and then be picked up at 12 noon for dismissal.

Good evening NAC families! This message is being sent to assure you that we are aware of and prepared for an expected peaceful protest scheduled for tomorrow morning. The New York State Police will be present, as they often are, to provide support and safety. The wearing of masks is still required in school buildings and on school buses throughout the State, and we will continue to follow the directives given by the New York State Education Department and the New York State Department of Health until we are told otherwise. Please forgive the update for today! Due to the current cold temperatures as a result of the wind chill factor this morning, Northern Adirondack Central will operate on a 2 hour delay. To repeat, NAC will be on a 2 hour delay schedule for today Wednesday, January 26, 2022.
Good morning again Northern Adirondack Families and staff. After a recent conversation with our school attorney, it is clear that a decision made in the Nassau County State Supreme Court is only binding for that county and has no bearing on the rest of the State. With that being said, the State mask mandate is still in place and we here at NAC are going to comply with it and continue to wait and see what unfolds throughout the day. At this point we are having all students and staff return to wearing masks. Please understand that we accept that there are differing opinions in our school community, however we must continue to follow the mandate and promote a safe environment.
