The Northern Adirondack School Board will meet at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, September 16, 2021 in the Middle High School Auditorium for the Regular Board Meeting.
The full agenda is available on the district’s website, www.nacs1.org. The meeting is open to the public. Facemasks are a requirement in all indoor schools settings. Those in attendance must have a facemask on at all times while in the building, and respect the social distancing requirements.

Good evening NAC families and happy Labor Day weekend. We look forward to welcoming all of our students back on Tuesday, September 7, 2021. Remember that all students, faculty, and staff must wear a mask on the bus and indoors to start the school year. Please remember that neck gaiters are not suitable and therefor must not be worn in place of a surgical or cloth mask. If your choice of a mask is not permissible, we will provide you with a suitable mask. It is also important that everyone completes a self assessment for potential COVID-19 symptoms before coming to school. Thank you for your cooperation and we look forward to seeing you soon.
Good evening NAC Families. For those of you who had previously received a p-EBT card with school related SNAP funds, please check those cards because money has been or will be added to them.
Reminder: this Wednesday, August 4 is the last day of open Library hours in the NAC Elementary Library! Stop by to hang out, get new books, play board games or do origami... or just pop in to say "hi!" Mrs. Smallman loves seeing students in the summer (even too-old-for-Elementary-students!) The library is open 8:30am-11:00am on Wednesday August 4.
Reminder: The school's medical director will be here today between the hours of 10am and 1pm to perform sports physicals on a walk in basis. Congratulations to the NAC varsity Baseball, Softball, Wrestling and Girls Tennis teams for for receiving the NYSPHSAA Scholar Athlete Team Award. This award is for teams that have over 75% of their roster with a 90% or above combined average. Congratulations to all the student athletes and their coaches for this prestigious accomplishment.
Attention Fall Sports participants: If you are in need of a physical to compete in Soccer or Volleyball, you should have received paperwork from Mrs. Gilmore. This paperwork must be returned to Mrs. Gilmore by July 26th to schedule your physical here at school. If you are un-sure if you need a physical please contact Mrs. Gilmore at (518)-594-3962 ext 3611. Remember you must have all your paperwork (and physical) completed by the the nurse before you can start practice.

Mrs. Williams' second graders checked on our pumpkin patch today, and are excited to see that the plants are growing! Sunshine and fresh air are good for kids .... and PUMPKINS!
