NAC Key Club, Builders Club, and Elementary students recently made over 400 Valentine's Day cards and pictures for local senior citizens. Residents at senior housing complexes in Altona, Churubusco, and Ellenburg as well as those at Meadowbrook Healthcare, CVPH's Skilled Nursing Floor, Clinton County Nursing Home, and St. Vilas Assisted Living will each receive a card or picture. We hope these brighten their day!

NAC students in K-Kids, Key Club and Builders Club are conducting a Coin Collection next week for Courageous Cali, a 2 year old from the Dannemora area who was bitten by a tick, which caused encephalitis and many health complications. Coin collection boxes are available in both buildings through February 17. Please give generously by sending in your coins with an NAC student! Good evening Northern Adirondack Central families and staff. As we are expected to experience severely cold temperatures in the morning, we wish to share the following transportation related items. First, please be aware that buses may be a few minutes earlier than normal, so we ask that you look for them. Secondly, please keep your students indoors until the bus stops at your house, then promptly send them out to the bus with appropriate winter clothing. If anything changes, we will let you know. Hey Bobcats, due to the predicted frigid temperatures ski club will be canceled Friday February 3rd. Titus Mountain is suspending their operations on Friday also. Ski Club will resume on Friday February 10th, Friday February 17th and March 3rd. Stay warm!

ELLENBURG – The Northern Adirondack School Board will meet at 6:00 p.m. Thursday February 9, 2023 in the Middle High School Auditorium for a Budget Work Session. Budget Work Sessions are used by the Board of Education to gather information and ask questions about particular sections of the budget. These sessions are held outside of formal Board of Education meetings. These meetings are used to develop the budget. Most decisions will be discussed during these sessions.
