Attention parents of middle school students:
Due to a technical error, our state testing for the ELA exams in grades 6, 7 and 8 will now take place Wednesday April 26th and Thursday April 27th. Sorry for the confusion and inconvenience.
The Parent Teachers Organizations of NACS is hosting a school apparel fundraiser. We have some new items and new designs! Show off your school spirit and support your PTO! Orders are due by April 30th. Click on the following link to view the selection http://schoolspiritny.com
Attention Middle School parents: This is a reminder that we will be conducting our ELA state testing on Wednesday April 19th and Thursday April 20th this year. It is always helpful if your child can get a good nights sleep before these exams. Please remember these exams are not timed, nor do they count for or against your child's average. These exams are merely a tool to assess where our students, as a whole, compare to their cohorts across the state. If you are refusing to have your child take this exam, a refusal letter, signed by the parent, must be brought to the Middle School main office no later than 10am on Tuesday April, 18th. Due to the work to properly prepare for these exams, refusal letters after this date or those sent by email or phoned in, will not be honored. Please remember, a refusal letter for ELA does not cover Math or Science. A separate letter will be needed for each exam. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation in this matter.
