NAC Elementary Parents & Guardians: As a follow up to the Halloween Festivities memo sent home with students last week, there will be no Halloween activities on Tuesday, October 31. Instead, we will be celebrating Halloween on Friday, October 27. Students will be allowed to dress in costumes on this day. Good evening NAC families and staff! I apologize for the late message, however NAC will be closed for an Emergency Day tomorrow, Wednesday, October 18th. Thank you for your understanding.

NACS Key Club is hosting a Trunk or Treat and Bottle Drive Saturday, October 28th from 10am- 12pm in front of the Elementary school. "Trunks" will be lined up in the bus lane. If community members want to host a trunk, please contact DeAnn Gregory at dgregory@nacs1.org by Thursday, Oct. 26.

We are so happy to have all these happy faces back at NAC for the start of the new school year! Who's ready to learn, grow, and have fun?!

2023-24 Elementary School supply lists are now available on the NAC Elementary website under the Parents tab and also by clicking this link: https://www.nacs1.org/o/naes/page/supply-lists Students were also sent home with a paper copy at the end of the school year.

Summer school/camp is drawing to a close with extra treats! Today Elementary students were visited by the Channel 5 First Warning Weather Lab and meteorologist Andrew Grautski to finish off their science unit on weather. After that, the Mr. Ding-a-ling ice cream truck came by school for a sweet surprise. Many thanks to our summer teachers and staff for creating such amazing learning opportunities!

This past school year, Mr. Baker's Elementary music classes collaborated on an epic performance of the Imagine Dragons song "Believer," contributing instrumental and vocal music and movement.
