Our awesome NAC students love to show they care! Students and staff created 700 Valentine cards, crafts, and notes for senior citizens in our area! This year we were able to send cards to the senior housings in Altona, Churubusco, Ellenburg, and Champlain, Meals on Wheels that delivers to those in our school district, the ARC house on Alder Bend in Altona, Meadowbrook, Clinton County Nursing Home, CVPH Skilled Nursing, Vilas Home, Champlain Valley Senior Community: Assisted Living & Memory Care, and veterans. A huge thank you to the Pre-K/Kindergarten team for all their help with this project, Jodi Latrell for making beautiful cards with 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders in art class, Marcy Peryea for coordinating the veteran cards, as well as to Shawntell Cook for providing late bus run students coloring sheets. You can't help but feel the Valentine love when you look at the photos of Key Club, Builders Club, K-Kids, and Elementary students with some of the Valentines created. With all of your help, we spread lots of love this year!
