Good morning NAC families and staff! Yesterday afternoon a student made a threat to blow up the school while riding home on the bus. This threat as all threats must be taken very seriously, so the administrative team began a joint investigation with the New York State Police. Late last evening, the New York State Police completed their investigation and informed us that the threat was deemed a non-credible threat. We are thankful that this was the case, however we are concerned with how common these type of threats have become. Thank you for your continued support, and know that we will continue to collaborate with law enforcement in an effort to maintain the safest environment that we can.

Good morning again. Just to clarify our emergency go home situation for today, any students who have it in their plan to be picked up will be going to the St. Edmond's church hall for pick ups. All other students will be transported on our school buses, as is the plan for all emergency go home situations.

Good morning NAC families! We are going to enact our emergency go home procedures today at 11:30, Monday, December 18th, as a result of the rising water near our school. Parent pick-ups will take place at the St. Edmonds church hall after 11:15, as we do not want anyone to attempt going through the water in front of our entrance ways. All after school activities will be cancelled today. Please remain safe.

Good afternoon NAC families! This message is meant to provide an update to the message regarding a non-credible threat that was sent yesterday. The New York State police verified that the threat that was received was a hoax. In an effort to ensure our safety, they performed a search of our facilities this afternoon and deemed our school safe. I ask that you remain vigilant and encourage people to report anything that may seem out of the ordinary. Please thank our law enforcement partners for their diligence and support.

Good evening NAC Families. Northern Adirondack was one of many districts, including our neighbors here in the CVES BOCES region who received a bomb threat via email today. We have been working with law enforcement, and they are aware that this email has been circulating across the country. It has been deemed a widespread hoax and non-credible threat. Law enforcement has offered additional support to our district as well as our neighboring districts. This message is meant to share with our NAC families how serious we take threats of this nature, and to inform you that we continuously collaborate with law enforcement in an effort to keep our campus safe. Thank you for your continued support, James C. Knight, Jr. Superintendent of Schools
