Good evening NAC families! Please take a moment to read a preliminary press release from the Clinton County Health Department that is shared in the NEWS section of our website and on our Facebook page. More information will be shared tomorrow afternoon when more of the related items and mitigation factors are worked out and the NYSDOH releases its guidance for review by the CCHD and area Superintendents, however masks will be optional starting on Wednesday, March 2, 2022.

Good evening NAC families. The Northern Adirondack Central campus will be closed tomorrow for all employees, athletic practices, and events. Due to the expected winter storm, there will be no practices tomorrow, Friday, February 25, 2022, and all staff expected to work tomorrow now do not have to. Thank you for your understanding and please remain safe.

The Northern Adirondack School Board will meet at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, March 3, 2022 in the Middle High School Auditorium for the 3rd Budget Work Session. This meeting is open to the public. Facemasks are a requirement in all indoor schools settings. Those in attendance must have a facemask on at all times while in the building, and respect the social distancing requirements.

Good evening NAC families! I hope this message finds you enjoying your Winter Break. Since we were unable to distribute the COVID-19 Home Rapid Test Kits before break as a result of emergency days, we will be making them available tomorrow, Thursday, February 24, in the Middle/High School entrance from 10am until 2pm. If you do not pick up your test kits tomorrow, they will be sent home with your student on Monday when they return. Stay safe with the weather that is on the way.

Good morning NAC families. We will be closed today due to the inclement weather and poor visibility and road conditions. To repeat, NAC is closed today, Friday, February 18, 2022. Please stay safe and enjoy the winter break next week.

NAC students who attend CVES will attend today, however our CV-Tech students will not.

NAC will be closed today, Thursday, February 17, 2022. Despite the power being restored in the area surrounding the school, we do not have heat in our MS/HS building due to internal electrical issues caused by this morning's transformer issue. Please stay safe as an unpredictable weather pattern is approaching today and tomorrow.

Good morning NAC families. We will bee operating on a two hour delay schedule this morning, Thursday, February 17, 2022, as a result of a transformer issue near school that has impacted our power and heat in the buildings. We have been informed that our power should be restored this morning, so we currently expect to open after the two hour delay. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Good evening NAC families! Either this Thursday or Friday two Home COVID-19 Test kits will be sent home with each student and staff member. There is no requirement for them to be used during next week's break, however if there is any sign of COVID-19 they can be used as a preliminary test useful in judging whether an individual should return to school on the 28th. At the elementary level the test kits will be placed in a paper bag. If you absolutely do not want to receive any test kits, please contact the office in the building that your child attends by the end of the day tomorrow, Wednesday, February 16, 2022. Thank you and please remain safe and healthy.

NAC Elementary celebrated the 100th day of school on Monday, February 14! Students created visual displays of 100 objects, 100 words, or dressed like they were 100 years old! We love the creativity of our families and teachers.
