Annual Water Safety Notice to Parents and Guardians
Dear Parents and Guardians,
In accordance with New York State Education Law §926, Northern Adirondack Central School District is required to provide parents and guardians with annual information regarding water safety, drowning prevention, and safe and healthy swimming.
Water safety is everyone's responsibility. Whether your family enjoys pools, lakes, rivers, beaches, or other waterways throughout the year, taking a few simple precautions can help prevent accidents and save lives.
We encourage families to:
Closely supervise children whenever they are in or near water.
Help children learn basic water safety and swimming skills.
Ensure children wear properly fitted life jackets when boating or participating in water activities.
Choose bright-colored swimwear to increase visibility in the water.
Follow all posted rules and safety instructions at pools, beaches, and waterfront areas.
Never allow children or adults to swim alone.
Consider any medical conditions, such as seizure disorders or heart conditions, before participating in water activities.
Stay out of the water during storms or when lightning is present.
Teach children to avoid unsafe or unsupervised bodies of water.
Be prepared for emergencies and know how to call 911 if assistance is needed.

Community Weight Room Notice CLOSED

Happy Last Day of School, NAC! It's been a wonderful year of learning, creating, and building relationships, and we can't wait to see you again in the fall.
NAC Builders Club wrapped up the school year with candy-gram congratulations to 8th graders moving on to High School as well as books and stuffed animals for students at the Northern Adirondack Central Head Start Center. Thank you to all who supported our book and stuffed animal drive this year to make this project possible.

(Nichols) Silver by their children Linda, Michael, Sandy, Stephen, Richard, Barbara, Patrick, Lisa & Lloyd, all proud alumni of this school. It is also given in recognition of the many years of service of Dr. Lisa M. Silver as Elementary Principal.

You are invited on June 23 at 1:00pm to the Northern Adirondack Title I Parent Advisory Committee meeting. The Annual Title I Parent Meeting is required under federal law (Title I, Part A, Section 1116 of the Every Student Succeeds Act, ESSA) to inform Title I parents and our community about our school's participation in the Title I program. It is an opportunity to provide information and to collect feedback in support of your children's education. The district invites parents, community partners, and businesses to participate.

NAC Builders Club and Key Club recently wrapped up their MOO-ving Towards a Cure/American Cancer Society fundraiser. $698.97 was collected in just five days! Thank you to the students, faculty, staff, and concert goers who donated. Congratulations to 6th grade, who raised the most money with $199.10 - their ice cream party will be held next week. A special shout out to the overall top three contributors: Jace L., Mr. Dumas, and Wyatt F.
