Bus Notes for the 2021 – 2022 School Year

Bus notes that require a change in a student’s primary bus will not be accepted during the 2021 – 2022 school year in an effort to maintain cohort groups on primary buses.  This practice implements the expectation that a student will be picked up and dropped off at the same location.  There may be an exception to the pickup and drop off points if the student remains on the primary bus for both rides.  The ultimate goal is to continue to maintain cohort groups to help minimize the possible spread and quarantining of students.  If you have a question about whether or not your request for a second point of pickup or drop off is part of the route taken by a student’s primary bus route, please contact the transportation office.  We are fully aware that some students may have a request to ride two different buses for daycare purposes.  If you are in this situation we are asking for your help in maintaining cohorts to the best of our ability by trying to arrange pickups and drop offs at your daycare location.  We understand that this may be an inconvenience to some, but it is an absolute benefit to our ability to maintain in-person learning without greater risks of high numbered quarantines.  As for those individuals with specific custody arrangements that require different pickup and drop off points, we encourage you to try and work with us to create the best possible consistency in maintaining bus cohorts, however we will work with you to the best of our ability if you coordinate with the transportation office.
