Northern Adirondack Central Reopening Update

It is with great pleasure that I am finally able to release the long awaited and finally approved information that involves our reopening plan for the 2021 -2022 school year!  First and foremost, all of our Kindergarten through 12th Grade students will be attending school 5 days per week for in-person instruction.  Information was shared during a Clinton County Health Department press conference this morning by the CVES District Superintendent, Dr. Mark Davey, which ensured that the Clinton County Health Department has accepted and endorsed our regionally developed reopening agreement with some specific guidelines.  All of the information is subject to change as the pandemic continues to remain a difficult challenge to overcome.  The items included in our reopening plan are bulleted below this paragraph.  Please be aware of the fact that having the ability to reopen for in-person learning hinges upon many factors, including your willingness to cooperate with the school district as well continued monitoring of the transmission rate in our county.  The reopening plan items listed below are in a basic format, however more specific information will be available starting later next week from the individual school building that your child attends. With that said, I am looking forward to the first day of school for students which is Tuesday, September, 7, 2021.
